Meet Our Team

The voice on the phone, the crew on the roof, and the family behind both.

We are passionate about serving the Yakima Valley with excellent heating and cooling service. Many of us are longtime valley residents, and it shows in how we take your call. Start with the two people whose name is on the door.

Josh Johnson, owner and CEO of ACT Heat & Air, in front of a blue wall

Josh is a graduate of both Selah High School and Perry Technical Institute. After Perry Tech he started his HVAC career in the greater Seattle area, where he was exposed to a wide variety of heating and cooling systems. Some were very large, including buildings on the Microsoft campus and the downtown Seattle high-rises. Others were banks and retail spaces.

That meant work on chillers, building automation, split systems, packaged units, geothermal and hydronic systems, and more. In 2011 he and Lindsey started ACT, and the crew has grown from there. Read the full ACT story.
