We're currently hiring HVAC service technicians.
ACT is a family owned company in Yakima with a crew of 20+ and a shop on West Mead Avenue. We work on commercial rooftops and in residential attics, and we are looking for another technician to join the crew.
The role
HVAC service technician
We are looking for technicians with at least 2 to 3 years of field experience.
Your job will include the installation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers. You will also diagnose and repair the electronic, mechanical and electrical components of those systems.
That covers a lot of ground: the furnace and heat pump calls our residential customers phone in, and the rooftop and building work on our commercial projects.
We're looking for techs with
Analytical and exact
Good analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals.
Customer first
Excellent customer service skills and a desire to exceed what the customer expected when they called.
Right the first time
The ability to work independently and on time, making sure the job is done correctly the first time.
